Capacity Shopping Center Istanbul
The number of shopping malls in Istanbul is increasing rapidly but not every shopping center is able to reach the same level of success due to the competition. Capacity in Bakirkoy is different though. Capacity Mall that opened its doors to visitors only a few months ago is now home to many stores that opened their first location in that part of the city. These tenants include well-known restaurants like Midpoint and House Cafe and global brands like Gap and Camper. The center is now the center of attention due to right choices in tenant-mix.
Capacity is the 4th center in Bakirkoy area following Galeria, Carousel and Town Center. The center has a closed area of 110,000 square meters and a parking garage with a capacity of 2,400 autos. The name of the center was chosen to literally mention the large capacity the center actually has in terms of capacity.
According to the management, the center had reached 4 million visitors only after 2 months they opened the doors. The central location and easy access to the ferry was major reasons behind the foot traffic. Capacity was designed to give the impresion that there is a different concept at each floor. There are 9 movie theatres on the top floor.
Current national and international tenants in the center include but are not limited to; Adidas, Adil Işık, Banana Republic, Batik, Bebe, Bershka, Beymen, Cacharel, Calzedonia, Camel Active, Carnevale, Colin’s, Converse-Columbia, Damat ADV Tween, De Facto, Dockers and many other global brands.
